I want to talk to you about BOOKSPROUT.
For those of you who don't already know, Booksprout is a website that allows readers access to free books, hundreds of them. These are usually advance copies of new releases or just released books. The deal is - you get the book sent direct to your e-reader, you read and then you review. Each author chooses where they want reviews - usually Amazon and Goodreads but other places are options too. There is always a compulsory review site and some optional ones as well. They also set the due date for reviews so make sure you check the date before requesting a book to ensure you can read and review in time.
It's really very simple and there are so many books in so many genres for you to choose from. However, BE WARNED - if you don't fulfil the promise to review you might get banned. It's a great place to find new to you authors and support both your book junkie habit and authors in need of reviews - they are more precious than gold. And if you find an author you really enjoy you can be notified anytime they post a new book for review. JAKKI FRANCES has a new book popping onto Booksprout in September...
So if you're interested in free books in exchange for an unbiased review (but not a hack job - be kind and tactful even if you don't enjoy a book, remember it is someones baby), and you have reviewing rights on Amazon (anywhere not just USA) - jump onto BOOKSPROUT and see what it's all about.
